Stalker 2 Updates

The first major update for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl (Patch 1.0.1) brings over 650 fixes and improvements to the game. Highlights of the patch include:

Key Fixes:

  1. AI Improvements: Fixed issues where NPCs would get stuck, fail to engage properly during combat, or exhibit strange behavior like shooting at cover. Combat AI has been reworked to react more intelligently to player actions.
  2. Performance Enhancements: Resolved memory leaks, crashes, and framerate drops in areas crowded with NPCs.
  3. Audio Fixes: Combat music no longer plays after encounters, and various sound bugs have been addressed.

Gameplay Adjustments:

  1. Balance Changes:
    • Repair costs for weapons and armor reduced.
    • Mission rewards increased by 2-3x.
    • Artifact sale prices significantly boosted.
    • Rookie difficulty now features reduced enemy damage, increased armor durability, and less weapon degradation.
